Hey everyone, I stumbled upon something odd while digging into the Bonnie Gay disappearance. Has anyone else noticed the discrepancy with the dates in the case? NamUs lists Bonnie's disappearance date as February 12, 1983, but apparently, the last time anyone heard from her was back in 1976 or 1977 when she was supposedly in West Virginia. It’s strange that there's such a gap between the last contact and the reported disappearance date. Does anyone have any thoughts on why it might have taken so long for her to be reported missing officially? Could it be possible that she resurfaced at some point in the '80s and then vanished again? Or maybe there were issues with the communication between family members and authorities. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has come across similar cases or has theories about what might’ve happened here.
