I was just thinking about Debbie Ann Pena's case and the uniqueness of her tattoos and scars. That "DP" tattoo between her thumb and index finger—I wonder if anyone's come across it in the past three decades. Tattoos can be such a personal marker, often telling a story or serving as a memory. People usually get them to commemorate something special or significant. Back then, tattoos weren't as commonplace as they are now, so I feel like it would stand out more if someone saw it. Also, that 4-inch scar on her abdomen... was it from an accident or something medical, I wonder? Scars often have stories too. If anyone has any details about local tattoo artists in the Orange County area in the early 80s, maybe they have records or memories that could lead somewhere?
