Has anyone else noticed how terrifying it is that someone could get so close behind Shawn and pull this off in such a public area without anyone being able to stop them or even catch a clear view? I can’t imagine the fear in that community right now, knowing that the shooter is still out there somewhere. Shawn’s background is complicated, but nobody deserves to be ambushed like that. His family must be going through so much pain, and I can’t help but wonder if there was some kind of warning or if anyone saw anything. It’s crucial that people come forward with any small piece of information they might have, something that seemed insignificant at the time might be the key to solving this terrible crime. I really hope the NYPD can put the pieces together soon.
