Hello everyone, I keep thinking about Anthony Pierre and the broader impact his death has had on the community. It's so tragic to see another life lost to the senseless cycle of violence. What really stands out is how Pierre's murder took place in the middle of the day on a street that so many people pass through safely every day. That fact alone makes it feel so much closer to home for everyone living in East Flatbush. The ripple effect on the community must be profound, especially knowing this happened just blocks from his newborn son's home. It's a painful reality for the family who has had their world shattered. It's so important, now more than ever, for the community to come together in solidarity and find ways to address this violence at its roots. Does anyone know if there have been community meetings or gatherings to discuss ways to make the neighborhood safer post this tragedy? Maybe other neighborhoods that have faced similar issues and found some solutions could offer insights.
