I still can’t wrap my head around the loss that the Alvarado family must be feeling. The thought that Jose could have been lured into such a horrific situation is chilling. I wonder what the nature of that call was—did he know the person who called him, or was it completely out of the blue? It seems like such a well-planned trap if that's the case. The neighborhood around Hunts Point Avenue can be tough, but it’s unsettling to think about how calculated this crime was. Hoping the police continue to dig deep into this, and that no stone is left unturned. My thoughts are with Jose's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
