Hey everyone, just wanted to share something that's been bugging me about the Roy and Connie Merrick case. I know the focus has often been on their disappearance while fishing, but I'm curious about the camper trailer they left behind. Has anyone heard if it was ever thoroughly checked for any signs of struggle or anything unusual? It's odd to me that a couple would leave all their personal belongings behind, especially if they were just going out for a casual day of fishing. I keep wondering if there could've been something in or around that camper that might've been overlooked. Maybe someone closer to the area back then might have insights on the kinds of searches they did? Just trying to think out loud here. Let me know if anyone has thoughts or remembers anything from that time!
Has anyone looked into weather patterns on the day Roy and Connie Merrick disappeared? Sometimes severe weather can cause unexpected situations, especially near water like a pond. I’m curious if there was heavy rain, sudden winds, or any unusual changes that day in Port Orchard, Washington. Could that have played a role in what happened to them? It seems strange that no belongings seemed disturbed, yet they vanished without a trace.
