I've been following the case of Ginger Martin, and something about the timeline just doesn't sit right with me. Why did it take until February 26, 1988, for anyone to report them missing? That's nearly five months after they set sail! Was there a reason someone waited so long? I wonder if someone close to them knew they were heading into dangerous waters but was hesitant to alert authorities for some reason. There has to be more to this story; either someone held back crucial info, or the people who reported were simply unaware of what happened. It's also strange that a 38-foot boat could completely disappear like that. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, new to the forum but I've been following Ginger Martin's case for a while now. I was reading about maritime disappearances, and I can't help but wonder about the sailboat they were on. It seems strange to me that there haven't been any reported sightings or wreckage found from the Sea Ray. Does anyone know if there were any unusual weather patterns around the time they set sail in October '87? I read that sudden storms can be brutal, especially in those waters. With such a big vessel, it seems like at least something would have turned up. Also, has there been any confirmation if the boat's beacon or radio was functioning properly when they left? I feel like something like that could offer crucial clues. Would love to hear thoughts or any info you might have!
