I was reading through some old news articles, and I can't stop thinking about that 911 call made by Karissa Lofton. Imagining the fear and courage it took for her to make that call in such a terrifying moment is chilling. It's so tragic and really gives you a sense of the horror they experienced that night. It's also so infuriating that despite her bravery, the killer still got away that night. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Karissa and Karen Lofton. I hope they know that people remember and still care about them and their story. It's so important we continue discussing cases like this, not only to honor the victims but also to ensure that we stay vigilant and aware of the evil that sometimes goes unnoticed in our communities.
Does anyone else find it incredibly chilling how calculated Jason Thomas Scott's crimes were? ? I was reading about the Lofton case, and it's so unsettling to think about how carefully he targeted mothers and daughters. The fact that he managed to break into these homes and carry out such brutal acts without leaving much forensic evidence is terrifying. It just makes me think about how vulnerable we all can be, even in our own homes. My heart goes out to the Lofton family and everyone else affected by his terrible actions. I hope they find some peace knowing that Scott is behind bars for good. Sending strength to those families who had to endure such huge losses because of him.

It's unbelievably tragic that she had to endure such fear, yet she managed to make that 911 call in a desperate bid to save herself and her mother. This young girl showed incredible courage, and I hope that more people recognize this aspect of her story. It’s moments like these where you wish things could have turned out differently, and my heart goes out to the friends and family who have had to live on without her and Karen. It’s so important that we remember them not just for what happened, but for who they were as people before this senseless act took them away.
