Has anyone else been following the case of the missing pilot from the PA32 with tail # N393HM? I was digging through some old articles and noticed that when the plane had mechanical failure and smoke in the cabin around the Knik Glacier, they later found the wing portion far off on Glacier Island. But what intrigues me most is how the passenger's body ended up on the shore at Granite Point the day after the crash. This makes me wonder if the plane broke apart midair or if it managed to ditch in the water closer to Granite Point. The distance between those two locations seems significant. Could currents have played a bigger role here, or might there be some other clues we’re overlooking?
