Has anyone looked into the type of safety equipment that *Risky Business* might have been carrying? It still puzzles me how none of the crew members were found, not even any significant wreckage. In 1991, were there specific regulations about the kind of emergency equipment fishing vessels needed to have? It's just odd that in such a dangerous profession, there wouldn’t be some failsafe or escape options available. Maybe there were lessons learned from this tragedy that changed regulations, but it's unfortunate that it had to come from the loss of these young men. If anyone has insight into safety protocols for these vessels during that time, it might shed some light on possible oversights that occurred. Thoughts?
