I've been following Keanon Williams' case and I can't stop thinking about how the community came together to support his family after the tragedy. The St. Roch neighborhood definitely felt the impact of his loss, and it's clear that neighborly bonds strengthened in response. I read about a candlelight vigil held in his memory where people shared stories of Keanon and reflected on the changes needed to curb the violence in the area. It's truly touching to see people rally together in such a positive way despite living in a city grappling with so much turmoil. I hope that this sense of unity can drive ongoing efforts to make St. Roch and other neighborhoods safer places to live. How are the local initiatives progressing since the trial concluded? Anyone have updates on what's being done to continue reducing crime in New Orleans?
