Hey everyone, I’ve been following Dion Dontey Williams' case, and one thing that's been on my mind is the years it took for his death to be ruled a homicide. It’s alarming how he lived for five years after being shot but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. It makes you think about how these cases linger and the toll it takes on families awaiting justice. I can't imagine the pain and uncertainty his loved ones went through during that time. Does anyone know if prolonged investigations like this impact the ability to gather evidence or push a case forward? It seems like the more time passes, the harder it must be for detectives to piece everything together. I'm hoping someone with more insight might shed some light on why it took so long for the medical examiner to finalize their ruling. It's so important we bring attention to these unresolved cases.
