Does anyone else find it odd that there was such a long delay before Jose Rodriguez was officially reported missing? I mean, he was last seen in 1991, but his mom didn't report him until 2005. I understand that sometimes families lose contact or might think someone's just off doing their own thing, but 14 years seems like such a long time. It makes me wonder if there were any attempts to reach out to him during that time or if there was any communication that caused the family to wait. It would be interesting to know more about the dynamics in his life back then. Maybe someone from his circle at the time has some insights or remembers things that could help piece together his movements or possible reasons he disappeared. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I recently stumbled across the case of Jose Rodriguez, the young guy from Nampa, Idaho who went missing back in '91. It's so baffling to me how there's been so little progress in his case. I was thinking about how critical it is to get a missing person report filed ASAP, but Jose's wasn't filed until 2005. That's such a long gap! I wonder what kind of challenges that delay caused for investigators? Could any potential evidence have been lost in the meantime? It's just so frustrating to think about how much harder it must be to piece together what happened after so many years. If anyone from the Nampa area is here, I'd love to hear if there's been any community efforts to bring more awareness to his disappearance. Every little bit helps in keeping these cases alive, right?
