Hey everyone, Just wanted to share a thought that's been on my mind about the tragic loss of Floyd Cain Jr. It's been over seven years since that terrible day at Prospect Heights Apartments, and my heart goes out to Floyd's family and friends as they continue to navigate life without him. I recently came across an interview with one of Floyd's childhood friends, who talked about how he was always the one to break the tension with a joke or lend a hand when you needed it. He genuinely seemed like one of those rare good souls that everyone loved and respected. It's truly gut-wrenching that an argument could escalate to something so irreversible. I also think about the witnesses who were there that day—how terrifying it must have been for them to see the confrontation unfold right before their eyes. They've had to carry that memory since, and that's not something that’s easily forgotten. I hope that through all of this, we can shine a light on the importance of conflict resolution and addressing disputes before they turn into violence. Floyd, and so many others who have been lost too soon, deserve to be remembered for the kindness they brought into this world. Stay safe, everyone. Would love to hear your thoughts or any memories you want to share about Floyd. Warm regards.
