Hey everyone. I've been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage from the Blue Sunday Bar and Grill incident. It's chilling to think that such a regular place for gathering and socializing could become the scene of such unimaginable violence. I've never personally watched such footage, but I imagine seeing something like that would be deeply disturbing. The fact that the victims’ families had to know that their loved ones' last moments were captured on camera just breaks my heart. It’s one thing to hear about an event, but another to have it visually documented and replayed. I can’t even begin to fathom the pain this adds to their grief. I feel so deeply for Xue Kent Zou's family, as well as the families of Jin Chen and Sherwood Morgan. The community in Bowie must be grappling with this too, trying to reconcile the place they once visited so joyfully with the scene of this crime. The trial might have wrapped up, but healing from such trauma is ongoing. I hope everyone involved is receiving the support they need.
