Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Lloyd McDonald’s case lately, and I keep coming back to how important community engagement is in situations like this. Baton Rouge has seen its share of violence, but what makes Lloyd's case stand out to me is the lack of movement despite it being broad daylight when it happened. It’s baffling that no witnesses or CCTV footage have surfaced—this was 2:40 in the afternoon!
I can’t help but wonder if people are too scared to speak up or if there aren’t enough eyes on places where these crimes happen. Regardless, keeping this conversation alive is key. Let’s share his story far and wide, remind people why it’s important to speak up, and hopefully, get more folks involved in demanding justice for Lloyd.
To his family and friends, my thoughts are with you. I can’t imagine how hard this must be, and I hope we get answers soon.

I’ve been following Lloyd McDonald’s case, and every time I think about it, I'm struck by how unsettling it is that no suspect has been identified. Given the time and location — middle of the afternoon, in his car, on Huron Street — it feels like someone must have seen or heard something. It’s so frustrating and incredibly sad for Lloyd’s family and friends not to have the answers they desperately need. It's hard to imagine the kind of grief they're dealing with. If anyone reading this happened to be in the area that day or has any small piece of information, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Sometimes the tiniest detail can break a case wide open. Let's hope someone comes forward soon for Lloyd's sake.
