Something about Mary's disappearance has been stuck on my mind for a while: the whole Fort Lauderdale story. The son claimed she went there with a boyfriend, but not a single other family member seems to know about this guy. It's odd. If she did have a new relationship, someone, even a friend in her circle or a neighbor, would've noticed something, right? And on top of that, the sudden silence from Mary’s end is really suspicious. Has anyone else thought about the connection between the story of the trip to Fort Lauderdale and the timing of when she was last heard from? Feels like a pretty convenient excuse to cover tracks or delay any search efforts. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it just doesn't sit right with me. Anyone have thoughts or theories on this?
