Hey everyone,
I wanted to discuss something that's been weighing on my mind about the tragic case of Emani Marshall and Ohigee Parker. It's been over five years, and there still seem to be so many unanswered questions. I recently read about the support extended by the Office of the State’s Attorney through their Family Bereavement Center. It made me think about how important it is for families to have access to these resources.
No one should have to navigate such an unimaginable loss without support, and it's at least a bit comforting to know there are places they can turn to for help. But it only makes it more frustrating to think that there hasn't been a breakthrough in finding who was responsible for this crime. The families deserve answers and closure. I hope anyone with information, no matter how small they think it might be, feels compelled to come forward. Keeping this case in our discussions and hearts might eventually bring the justice Emani and Ohigee so deserve.
Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on how communities can further support families in cases like this. It feels like something more should be done to keep the momentum and hope alive for justice.
Stay safe, everyone.
I've been following the tragic case of Emani Marshall and Ohigee Parker, and like many of you, I'm feeling the weight of this unsolved tragedy. It's truly devastating to think about how their families are coping right now. I recently learned about the GoFundMe page set up by Ohigee's family. It's so important during times like these for the community to come together and provide support. It's not just the emotional burden; the financial strain can be overwhelming, and it breaks my heart to think that these families have to deal with that on top of their immense grief.
If anyone here has any connections to local organizations or knows ways to spread the word about their fundraiser, it could really help lift some of the burdens. We all want justice for Emani and Ohigee, and while the police continue their investigation, maybe there's something small we can do to make a difference for those left behind. Let's keep the conversation going and keep their memories alive. If you’re in the area or have any information, please consider reaching out to the authorities, even if it seems minor. Every bit could help.
