Has anyone considered the possibility that Robert Grey Pinkerton might have tried to blend into another community or even another lifestyle entirely? Given his transient lifestyle, it seems plausible that he might have found a new group or area where he felt more at home. With his distinctive features like the chipped tooth and metal pin, you'd think someone might recognize him even years later. It's frustrating that there doesn't seem to be any new leads after all this time. Maybe someone who previously crossed paths with Robert and remembers his unique features might stumble across this thread and can shed some light on his whereabouts.
