I came across an interesting detail about James's case that might be worth discussing. I read that his RV, which was eventually found abandoned near Kingman, Arizona, was discovered with all of his personal belongings intact, including his wallet and some cash. It's baffling why someone would leave everything behind like that. If it was a planned disappearance, you'd think he might have taken at least some essentials with him. On the other hand, if something happened to him, why was nothing visibly disturbed or missing? Also, I wonder why it took so long to find the RV. There's a huge gap between the last letter and when the RV was found. Was it just missed by searches, or did it get moved there later? Thoughts?
Wow, I just came across James' case and the timing of everything is seriously intriguing. So, James was sending letters and the last was postmarked from Quartzsite, but then his RV was found years later near Kingman? That's quite a distance and a big time gap! I'm really curious about what made someone decide to report the RV in 2012. Was there something that stood out about the van, or was it just left in a spot that finally got noticed? And why that spot near Kingman? This case raises so many questions about those years in between—wondering if anyone local remembers or saw anything. Anyone dive into local news archives or talk to the people around these areas who might have seen something?
Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about James's case, particularly the timeframe between when he went missing in February 1998 and when his RV was found in 2012. That’s over a decade! Does anyone else find it curious that the RV was discovered so far from the last known point of contact in Quartzsite? I mean, that’s quite a gap in time and geography. I've read stories of vehicles being left in remote areas, but this seems a bit different. Was it just sitting unnoticed all these years? Was it moved after his disappearance? So many questions and not enough answers. Would love to hear if anyone has insights on similar cases or thoughts on how the RV ended up where it did.
