Has anyone else looked into the Ceasefire initiative's impact around the time of Jasper Thomas's tragic passing? It's really tough to see such a senseless loss occur right in the midst of efforts aimed at promoting peace. I'm wondering if this case brought any changes or intensified support for the movement? I can't imagine the pain for Jasper's family, and it must have been such a conflicting moment for the community trying to rally for peace. But despite the tragedy, I hope it somehow strengthens the need for these gatherings and efforts to combat the violence. We all need to do better.
