Hey everyone, I’ve been really intrigued by the Thomas Ricardo case from 1998, especially the whole aspect of him being a pilot. I find it incredibly puzzling that not a single piece of wreckage has been found if he indeed crashed near Half Moon Bay. You'd think with the advancements in technology and the number of dives and surveys they’ve done over the years, something should have surfaced. It’s cases like these that make me wonder about the exact trajectory planes might take over the ocean. Has anyone here ever heard similar stories where wreckage was never found, or is there any precedent for missing aircraft being discovered after such a long time? Just trying to grasp how something can seemingly vanish without a trace. Would love to hear your thoughts or if you’ve come across any similar tales.

Has anyone else been curious about the weather conditions on May 22, 1998, around Half Moon Bay? I've been digging through old meteorological data and it seems like there were reports of fog and low visibility on that day. Could this have contributed to Thomas Ricardo's disappearance if he was indeed piloting a small aircraft? Small planes can be tricky to navigate in poor weather, and if he was flying near the ocean, that might have made it even more dangerous. I'm no expert, but has anyone else looked into this angle? Maybe there were more factors at play that fateful day than we initially thought.
