What stays with me is how unexpected this tragedy was, with no prior reports of domestic disputes. It serves as a stark reminder that domestic violence isn't always visible on the surface. Having grown up in a small town myself, I know how close-knit communities like Edgemere can be, and losing someone like Ami, who was such a pillar in her community, must be devastating. My thoughts are with her children and the rest of her family. Living with the absence of a loved one taken so suddenly is unimaginable. It’s a somber reminder for us all to be more vigilant in recognizing the signs of domestic abuse, however subtle they may be, and to support each other before situations escalate to this point. My heart goes out to everyone who knew Ami and those who continue to honor her memory.

Hey everyone, I wanted to bring attention to something that's been weighing on my mind about Ami Lynn Garrison's case. I've read through a lot of your posts and noticed we've talked a lot about the incident itself, but I’m curious about the immediate aftermath and how the community has been coping since Ami's tragic loss. It seems like Ami's family and friends have been incredibly strong throughout all of this, and the vigil at Sparrows Point High School must have been a powerful moment. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, but it’s clear that the community is rallying around them. For those of you in or near Edgemere, how is the community healing? Have there been any other events or initiatives in Ami’s memory? It's always inspiring to see how communities can come together in the face of such devastation, and I think sharing those positive actions can bring a little comfort to everyone who loved her. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all those who knew Ami. She was clearly an amazing person who touched many lives.
