I’ve been following the Daunta Davis case closely and can't stop thinking about a statement made by one of the witnesses. They mentioned hearing a distinct sound right before the shooting happened. It makes me wonder if it could have been a signal or a warning between the attacker and someone else nearby. In high-crime areas, it's not uncommon for people to communicate in ways that outsiders might not notice. I’m praying Daunta’s family finds the answers they need, and that this piece of information can somehow lead to more insight into what exactly unfolded that night. It’s so important for the community to feel safe and supported as they continue to heal from such a traumatic loss.
