Does anyone else find it unsettling how little information has surfaced about Deshawn McCoy's case in East Baltimore? It's really concerning that, despite being the 67th homicide of 2019, it appears no closer to being solved. It makes you think about how terrifying it must be for Deshawn's family, desperately waiting for answers and justice. I can't imagine the frustration and pain they must be feeling, knowing their loved one's case might be getting colder by the day.
I've read a few articles, and it's always mentioned that the police encourage people to step forward if they have any information. But what if the community is too scared to talk, given the nature of violence in the area? It seems like a vicious cycle where people are afraid to speak up, and so the cycle of violence continues.
If there's anyone here from the area or someone who knew Deshawn, do you think there's anything more the community can do to support the investigation? Maybe a rally or some kind of community action to keep the case in the public eye and push for more transparency from law enforcement? Just hoping there's something more that can be done, for Deshawn's sake and for his family.
