Wow, this case is just so heavy, and it's hard to make sense of it all. I can’t help but think about the impact on the Blair Ewing Center and Anika Browne’s students and colleagues. She was obviously a wonderful teacher who was committed to making a difference. It's difficult to imagine how the kids she taught are processing all of this. For many, school is a safe place, and to lose someone like Ms. Browne in such a terrible way must be incredibly confusing and scary. I'm glad to hear the school is providing mental health support, but I wonder how long those resources will be available and if they’re enough to help everyone involved. My thoughts are with her students, colleagues, and, of course, her family during this painful time.
