I recently came across Kawontay "Tay" Witherspoon's case and found myself deeply moved by the impact his passing had on the Baltimore community. It's just so striking how someone so young could touch so many lives in his short time here. While the circumstances of his death remain elusive, what's clear is the outpouring of love and grief from those who knew him. I wonder if anyone has heard about local community movements or memorials that have been done in Tay's honor? Sometimes communities rally together for peace walks or candlelight vigils in remembrance, which can keep a person's memory alive and highlight the circumstances that led to such tragedies. I'm also curious if there are any organizations out there that are supporting the family or working on community safety in West Baltimore in his memory. Hoping to shed more light on these aspects of Tay's story and how he's continuing to inspire change even after his passing. Any insights or updates would be wholeheartedly appreciated.
