Has anyone else been following the legal aspect of Bryant Brooks' case? I've been thinking a lot about the decision to charge Mark Lechoco as an adult. I understand the gravity of the crime, but it's still so shocking whenever a 15-year-old is involved in such serious proceedings. It makes you wonder about the circumstances and pressures these young people are under. Of course, justice must be served, but I can't help but feel conflicted about how we're addressing the root causes that lead to such tragedies.
