I’ve been reading about Siera Benson's case, and my heart goes out to her family, especially her children who have to grow up without their mom. I found it so chilling to learn that the neighbor had a known history of harassing Siera. It's really concerning how these red flags can be overlooked until it's too late. Why aren't there more systems in place for people dealing with stalkers or obsessive behavior? It's sadly too common that people feel trapped with nowhere to turn. I can't begin to imagine the fear she must have felt, knowing someone was watching her every move. How do we push for better laws or more effective protective measures to prevent tragedies like this? Her story deserves more attention, not just as a statistic, but as a reminder of the real lives affected by these issues. Siera deserved to see her children grow up, and it's just tragic that she was robbed of that. If anyone has thoughts on how communities could better support victims before it reaches this point, I'd love to hear them.
