Does anyone else find it incredibly difficult to wrap their head around the devastation that Dana Brown's family must be feeling? Imagining losing a loved one in such a senseless act of violence is almost unfathomable. I know Dana was only 25, he had his whole life ahead of him. From what I've gathered through news reports and some community chatter, Dana was deeply loved by his family and had a tight-knit group of friends. It's a small comfort that his family got some form of justice with Jerome Collier's conviction, but nothing can truly make up for their loss. I hope that the people who knew Dana hold on to the good memories they shared with him, and that his case serves as a reminder of the ongoing need to address violent crime in cities like Baltimore. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
