I've been following the Shawnna D. Spann case closely, and one thing that's been on my mind is the location where she was found. The 2500 block of E Biddle Street is known for its challenges, but it's also a tight-knit community. It's so devastating to think that someone could do this and still be walking amongst us. Shawnna's life was taken on a street where people live their daily lives, a place where neighbors would know each other. I'm really hoping that someone who saw anything that night or heard something might come forward with information. Her friends and family deserve answers and peace of mind.
