Has anyone else been following the candlelight vigil held for Demetriouse Davis? I read about how his family and friends came together to remember him, sharing stories and paying tribute to his life. It must have been incredibly moving but also so difficult for everyone to gather with the reality of his loss still so fresh. These vigils are such an important way for communities to come together to support each other, but it’s just so wrong that they need to happen at all. I hope events like this can keep the memory of Demetriouse alive and push for the justice he deserves. If anyone attended, I'd love to hear how it went and how the community is holding up. ?

Hello Everyone, I’ve been following the case of Demetriouse Davis, and I wanted to open up a discussion about the role the community can play in unsolved homicide investigations. It’s disheartening that, despite the police’s hard work, there haven’t been any significant breakthroughs. I wonder if more community involvement could make a difference here. I'm sure it’s tough for folks who might have seen or heard something to come forward, but every piece of information, no matter how small it might seem, could be the missing puzzle piece the investigators need. I genuinely believe that our communities can be a powerful force in driving change and finding justice, not just for Demetriouse, but for all victims of violence in Baltimore. What are your thoughts on how communities can help support such investigations? I’d love to hear perspectives, especially from those who’ve seen this kind of involvement make an impact in their own neighborhoods. Thinking of Demetriouse’s family and friends during this difficult time. Keep hoping for justice. Stay safe, everyone.
