I've been following the Walter Reinhard case for a while now, and one aspect that puzzles me is the fanny pack he was last seen carrying. Park rangers haven't mentioned finding it, and considering how well-equipped Reinhard seemed to be for a day hike, there might have been some clues inside it. I wonder if it contained any personal items, maps, or even an emergency kit that could offer insights into his planned route or intentions. It's strange that in all these years, not even a scrap of his belongings has turned up. Could the pack have been buried under debris, or somehow ended up with someone else? I know it's a long shot, but if anyone was around the White Wolf Trailhead back in September 2002 and saw someone else with it, that could be a critical lead for investigators. Every little piece of information might help bring Walter's family some answers.
