I've been following the case of Michelle Green and Julie Rice, and it's just such a senseless tragedy. One thing that really caught my attention was how Dandre Woods-Bethel called 911 himself right after the shooting. I can't even begin to comprehend the mindset of someone who would do such a horrific thing and then turn themselves in like that. There's something so chilling about it. It's particularly heartbreaking to think about Lakia Jackson having been right there with them and experiencing such an unfathomable loss. I hope the investigation sheds some light on why this happened, though I know answers won't ease the pain for the families involved. It’s hard to find peace or justice in situations like these, but supporting the families through these dark times is so important. Thoughts and prayers are definitely with them.
