I’ve been following D'Allen "Swip" Antonio Jones’ case for some time now and have been thinking a lot about the community's role in finding justice for him. Baltimore has seen too many of its young people taken by violence, and it's crucial for all of us to step up. We can’t underestimate the power of community coming together, whether it’s through sharing information, raising awareness, or supporting his family as they push for answers. It strikes me that the lack of witnesses coming forward might be due to fear or distrust of the system. Maybe people are scared, and honestly, that's understandable given the situation in many urban communities today. But if you know something, even the smallest detail could be the piece needed to put everything together. To D'Allen’s family and friends, your strength and persistence are truly admirable during such a difficult time. I hope community members who have been silent find courage to speak up. It's not just about getting justice for D'Allen but also about preventing tragedies like this from happening again. His vibrant life shouldn't just be a memory. Let's make sure his story doesn’t fade away.
