I'm deeply saddened every time I read about cases like Clifford Ellis's. It truly highlights the randomness and senselessness of some crimes. The fact that Robert Hill continued to commit multiple crimes after the shooting is alarming and speaks to the chaotic nature of that day. My heart goes out to Clifford's family – losing a loved one, especially in such a violent manner, must be incredibly hard to process. I wonder if Robert Hill had any prior incidents that could have signaled this level of violence in the making. It's concerning how such behavior seems to erupt out of nowhere, causing heartbreak and turmoil for families like the Ellises. I hope the legal proceedings bring some measure of justice and that efforts are made to understand what led to such a tragedy.
