I’ve been following the case of Genesis Garrett and Kandeon Niravanh for a while, and something that keeps coming to mind is the community’s reaction to the tragedy. It seems like Waldorf has really come together to support the families of both victims. I read about a candlelight vigil that was held in their memory, and it’s clear that both women were cherished by their friends and loved ones. It’s encouraging to see neighbors rallying to raise awareness about the lasting impact of violence and supporting each other during such a difficult time. It’s moments like these that remind us of the strength in community and how important it is to look out for one another. My heart goes out to the families and everyone affected.
