I've been thinking a lot about the role of video surveillance in cases like Guy Thomas's. It's chilling but also kind of incredible how footage can be pivotal in courts. In this case, it was key in showing Darrius Jordan's involvement, even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. But it makes me wonder about the limitations. A camera can show us events, but without context, it leaves a lot open to interpretation. My heart goes out to Thomas's family as they wait for justice for the actual shooter. I hope the ongoing investigation can bring more clarity and peace to them.
