I've been thinking a lot about the Charles Dougherty case recently, and I'm really struck by the neighborhood where it all happened. I know 429 South 29th Street quite well, and it's usually a pretty quiet area, so it's hard to wrap my mind around such a violent crime occurring there. It's almost like the entire community was taken by surprise because violent incidents had been going down around that time.

I feel for Charles’s family and friends who are still searching for answers after all these years. It must be incredibly frustrating to feel like you're stuck in a perpetual state of uncertainty, especially when there seemed to be some promise due to the declining crime rate.

Does anyone know if there have been any updates on Charles Dougherty's case? I remember when it happened back in 2011. It's so unsettling that his family is still left with no answers after all these years.
