Hey everyone, I’ve been following Bernard Savoy’s case closely, and something that stands out to me is the location of where this tragedy took place. Hillcrest Heights has been known for its ongoing issues with crime, but I can’t help but wonder how much of this violence stems from things like insufficient lighting or lack of community programs. We often talk about addressing crime, but maybe we need to focus more on prevention through community engagement. Do any local residents have thoughts on this? Is there something more that could be done to make the neighborhood safer, like neighborhood watch programs or increased police presence? My heart truly goes out to Bernard’s loved ones during this difficult time. Every life lost to violence is one too many, and I hope we can find ways to prevent more tragedies like this one. Let's hope for justice and peace for Bernard's family and the entire community. Stay safe, everyone.
