I’ve been reading up on the Dennis Kelly case and something really puzzles me. How did it take until 2009 for his family to report him missing when the last confirmed sighting was in 2005? I understand families can lose touch, but it makes me wonder about the dynamics and communication within his family. Did they think he was somewhere safe all along? Or maybe they tried to find him privately before involving authorities? Given he was taken to the hospital, it feels like there should have been some kind of trail to follow. If anyone has insights into how these kinds of delays in reporting might happen, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
