Hey everyone, I’ve been following Keith Carter’s case closely and something that caught my attention was the lack of witnesses coming forward. It’s so frustrating to hear how often this happens in communities plagued by violence. I understand the fear of retaliation is real, but it’s heartbreaking to think about Keith’s family and friends not getting the closure they deserve because people are too scared to speak up. Does anyone else find it troubling that despite many people likely being nearby when the shooting occurred, no one has stepped up with information? I wonder if there are ways we can help create a safer environment for witnesses. Maybe some community programs or anonymous tip lines could make a difference? Just thinking out loud and hoping justice will be served for Keith's family. Would love to hear any thoughts or ideas you guys have on this. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Keith Carter and wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind. Given the tragedy of his death and how frustrating it must be for his family to not have any closure yet, I've been wondering about the broader issue of community trust in law enforcement. It feels like there’s a huge gap between the police and residents in Baltimore, and it makes me think about how crucial it is for witness cooperation to solve cases like Keith’s. I know not everyone feels comfortable coming forward, maybe out of fear or distrust, but it’s heartbreaking to see cases stall because of it. Does anyone in the forum have thoughts on how trust can be rebuilt in these neighborhoods? Or are there examples from other cities that have managed to bridge this gap effectively? Sending love to Keith's loved ones as they navigate through this incredibly tough time. ✨
