Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share some thoughts about the CCTV presence in Baltimore around the time Donnell Smith Jr. was murdered. I’ve been curious about whether there were any cameras in the vicinity of 1200 block of Decker Street that night. As many of us know, the use of public cameras is quite widespread in urban areas these days, so it seems strange that no footage has surfaced, or at least none that we know of publicly.
It's just frustrating to think that there might be crucial evidence out there, but for some reason, it's not being utilized or shared in ways that could bring answers to Donnell's family. I can only imagine how devastating it must be for them not to have justice or closure. Truly hoping that someone in the area might come forward with any information or footage that could help move this case forward. Donnell deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts. ?
What are your thoughts on the publicity and effectiveness of existing surveillance in solving cases like this?
Take care,

I’ve been thinking about how Donnell’s role at Eric’s and Senior Living might offer some insight into his character and perhaps even the circumstances of his untimely death. It seems clear that Donnell was someone who genuinely cared for those around him, especially the elderly he worked with. It makes me wonder if his compassionate nature played any part on that tragic evening. He was known for helping others, and I can’t help but think there might be someone out there with crucial information who he had also impacted positively.
It's frustrating that there hasn't been much movement in the investigation. Maybe those who knew him from his workplace could provide some fresh leads or clues? I really hope there's a renewed focus on cases like Donnell’s—he didn’t deserve what happened, and his family deserves answers and some form of justice. My thoughts are with them, and I hope they find some peace and strength in the love and memories they shared with him.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Donnell Smith Jr., especially the day he was taken from us on September 20, 2021. There’s this particular aspect that keeps gnawing at me—his work at Eric’s and Senior Living. It seems like Donnell was more than just an employee; he was a caregiver who truly made a difference in the lives of the elderly people he helped. In a world so often troubled by chaos, it’s hard to understand how someone who contributed so positively to his community could meet such a tragic end.
It's been especially difficult to hear that, despite his impactful life, there still haven't been any arrests or strong leads in his case. It’s like a dark cloud hanging over a life that was so bright. For someone who was obviously so loved and respected, it’s painful to imagine the lack of answers his family and friends must be dealing with every day.
Does anyone have any insight into whether there’s been any movement or renewed interest in solving his case? It feels like Donnell’s kindness and compassion deserve justice as much as any grand gesture does. Just hoping someone out there might stumble upon the right lead.
Thinking of Donnell and those who cherished him. ?
