Hey everyone, I've been following Derrick Smith's case closely, and something that's been on my mind is how the ShotSpotter technology played a role in this investigation. It's crazy to think about how advancements in tech can make such a significant impact in solving crimes these days. The fact that officers were able to respond so quickly thanks to the ShotSpotter system is a testament to how vital these tools can be in tracking down perpetrators and potentially saving lives. I can't begin to imagine the distress Derrick's family must have felt receiving the news in such a horrific manner. I hope that the use of technology like this helps deter future violence and brings a little bit of peace to the city. Sending love and strength to Derrick's family and the other victims as they navigate through this difficult time. ? Curious if anyone else has thoughts on how tech like this could shape the future of crime solving? Stay safe, everyone.
