Has anyone else been wondering about the role of community surveillance in Caron Simpkins' case? I read that the shooting took place near John Carroll Elementary School, and schools usually have security cameras in place. Is there any mention of footage being available from those cameras, or even from nearby businesses or homes? It just seems like with the technology we have today, there should be video evidence to help identify who was responsible.
It's so upsetting to think about how Caron's family must feel with this hanging over them, desperate for answers. I can't imagine the pain of losing a loved one in such a violent way and the frustration they must feel in the absence of leads. I hope the authorities are able to check every possible angle, literally and figuratively, so that they can piece together what happened that day. If anyone has more info on the surveillance aspect, or how it might be aiding the investigation, please share! We need to keep discussing and collaborating as a community to help find justice for Caron.
Has anyone here heard if there's been any progress or new leads in Caron Simpkins' case? I’ve been following closely, and it's so frustrating to see this young life taken with seemingly no resolution in sight. I recently read that Caron was passionate about music and had ambitions to make something of himself despite the harsh environment around him. It's just gut-wrenching thinking about how his dreams were cut short.
I hope his story doesn't become another cold case statistic. It's encouraging to see the community coming together with the memorial and all, but it must be so difficult for his family to sit with the agony of unanswered questions. Thoughts and prayers are great, but I wish more people would feel compelled to speak up, especially when there's such a substantial reward involved. It just seems like justice is moving at a snail's pace here. Somebody out there knows something, and it’s well past time this family gets the answers they deserve.

It's devastating to think about how his classmates and teachers at John Carroll Elementary must be processing this loss. I can't imagine the shock and grief they're feeling, knowing it happened so close to where they spend so much of their day. It makes me think about whether schools in the area have enough support systems in place to help students cope when tragedies like this occur. Grief counselors, peer support groups, anything that could assist in these difficult times. My heart goes out to everyone who knew Caron, and I sincerely hope his school community is getting the support it needs to navigate this trauma.
