I’ve been following the case of Michael N. Hawkins and am struck by the community's resilience and support for his family. Although the circumstances are distressing, it's amazing to see how neighbors have banded together, holding vigils and making sure his loved ones don’t feel alone. It’s truly a testament to the kind of person Michael must have been—a valuable and loved member of the community. It would be great to see more community-driven efforts, like neighborhood watch groups or donation drives, to continue keeping his memory alive and assist in finding justice. Does anyone know if there have been any recent community events or plans to organize one soon?
