I’ve been following Theodore Wyasket Jr.’s case and, while going over prior missing persons reports, I noticed something that seems odd about the timing of when he was last heard from. January 1st can be a tricky date since many people are busy with New Year's Day activities. I wonder if there's a chance any nearby gatherings or events took place that day where someone might have seen or interacted with him. Did the local community host any gatherings or was there any kind of public event or festival in Fort Duchesne around the New Year that might have had a larger attendance? It's just a thought, but maybe someone there might have seen something. If anyone has local knowledge or access to community events from that time, it could be worth looking into further.

I came across Theodore Wyasket Jr.'s case while reading about missing Indigenous people, and I noticed that he went missing from Fort Duchesne on January 1, 2007. It's been over a decade now, and it’s unfortunate that there are so few updates or details surrounding his disappearance. I’m curious if anyone knows whether there were any local searches conducted back in 2007 or since then? It's concerning how little information seems to have been released to the public. In smaller communities, everyone tends to know each other – does anyone from Fort Duchesne or the surrounding areas have insight into whether his disappearance was discussed locally or if there might be unreported clues or theories? Any local rumors or forgotten details could possibly provide new angles to explore. It seems like awareness and grassroots efforts can sometimes unearth important information, especially in cases that have grown cold.

I’ve been following the case of Theodore Wyasket Jr., and something that bothers me is the lack of media coverage it received back in 2007. It feels like this is a common trend with missing persons cases, especially involving Native Americans. I read somewhere that local news outlets initially didn’t even report on Theodore's disappearance, which might have delayed the investigation. Does anyone else think that more media attention could have made a difference back then? It's so frustrating to see cases like this getting so little visibility. If anyone has any updates or knows about any local advocacy groups that might be working on bringing more attention to Theodore’s case, please share.
