It's deeply saddening to think about what Devin's family must be going through right now. Losing a young life like his to violence is so unsettling. One thing that has caught my attention is the role of surveillance in apprehending suspects these days. The fact that they could locate Cardel Chaney so swiftly at the Wheaton Metro Station thanks to surveillance footage really makes me think about the balance between privacy and safety. While it's reassuring to know it helped in this case, it's a reminder of how much we're constantly being watched. I really hope there’s justice for Devin and some sense of peace for his loved ones. It’s just so tragic to see a community shaken like this over and over again.
