I still can’t wrap my head around the senselessness of Goonew’s murder. It’s gut-wrenching to think that he was just trying to do something kind for his sister. I keep wondering if someone saw something that day—it's not easy to forget a moment like that. Crime near your own neighborhood makes everyone feel so vulnerable. I hope his family's plea for justice doesn’t go unheard and that someone finds the courage to come forward with information. He seemed like such a positive influence in the DMV rap scene and had so much potential. My thoughts are with his family. They deserve answers.
