I’ve been following this case since the beginning, and I can’t help but think about how the community in Central Forest Park must be feeling right now. It’s alarming to see yet another incident of violence so close to home. Robert Carter and Kennard Wilds were just going about their day, presumably stopping for gas, and then everything changed in an instant.
The arrest of Lamarr Candia has opened up a lot of questions about what really happened that night. The details around the dispute are vague, and I can’t help but wonder if there’s more to the story. Was it something personal, or just an escalation of a minor argument?
This kind of violence is tearing communities apart, and it’s not just the families of the victims who suffer. Everyone who lives in that neighborhood must be feeling an overwhelming sense of unease. I hope this serves as a wake-up call for leaders in Baltimore to push for more resources and support to prevent these tragedies.
Sending my thoughts to the families of Robert and Kennard. I can’t imagine what they’re going through.
It's truly hard to wrap my head around this tragedy. My heart goes out to the families and friends of Robert Carter and Kennard Wilds. Reading about incidents like this just makes you realize how fragile life is. I was struck by how quickly things escalated over a seemingly mundane disagreement. It sounds like something that maybe could have been resolved peacefully had circumstances been different. The fact that both victims and the suspect were in their 20s and 30s only adds to the sadness of it all. It's disheartening to think about the potential and future plans that were cut so short. I hope the investigation sheds some light on what truly happened that evening, and justice is served appropriately. It’s a small comfort but absolutely necessary for those left behind. Sending strength and thoughts to all those affected.
